New Young Adult Ministry

The Proto-Cathedral of St. James the greater is starting a new Young Adult Ministry! The first Prayer and Interest meeting will take place on September 27, beginning at 5:30 with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Following Adoration there will be a social, with pizza! All ages 18-35 are welcome. The meeting will be held at the Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater. We hope that all the young adults in our family can join in for this wonderful opportunity to gather as a community of faith.

Pray and Stretch

Pray and Stretch will be breaking for the summer, and will resume on September 21, 2024

Join us every Saturday morning at 10:30 AM in Marian Hall for a 60-minute rejuvenating Pray and Stretch class, where we complement the serenity of prayer with the revitalizing practice of stretching. This unique class offers a holistic approach to well-being, focusing on mind, body, and spiritual health. A certified instructor will be leading this class. These classes are offered at no charge, though a free will offering donation is kindly accepted. It’s not required but if you have a yoga mat, please bring it! We also offered seated stretching for those who are more comfortable seated.

Into the Breach

We are starting a new men’s group here at St. Joseph! Through shared experience and small group discussion, men build a brotherhood, strengthening them in their mission as disciples. These gatherings will take place on the first Saturday of each month at 7:00 am in the St. Teresa Room in Marian Hall.

Bereavement Support Group

St. Joseph’s has a Bereavement Support Group for those who have lost a loved one and are feeling the need for support within the context of our Catholic faith. We will meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 12:30 pm in the Marian Hall Library. Come and find support, comfort, and prayer with your fellow parishioners.
