Our Annual Parish Picnic will once again be held "Under the Trees" in the grassy area of the outdoor Stations of the Cross. There will be opportunities for fellowship and fun with some new activities to help build community here at St. Joseph. We are expanding the Bake-Off to include a Jr. Bake-Off for all kids 17 years old and under. We're adding another inflatable called the "Obstacle Course". Recap of 2016 Parish Picnic
The annual parish picnic was a great success on Sunday, July 31, 2016. This year it moved to a new location in the grassy area behind the church. Large overhanging trees provided lots of shade for families eating at tables, kids playing games and kept the overall temperature cool. One new addition to the event this year was the bake-off contest where parishioners could test their best treats. Brownies, cookies and bar cookies were the three categories for the contest. Not only did the judges get to enjoy the treats but all the sweets were served as dessert for the enjoyment of everyone.

Molina Healthcare set up a booth where anyone could spin a wheel and name different fruits and vegetables depending on a category and win a prize. Their most popular attraction was a stationary bike that you could pedal to power a blender and make a healthy smoothie. Overall the parish picnic was a wonderful afternoon filled with many laughs and fun for all.
